Happy birthday to me!!!!!!!!

Sorry for not posting in a while, but I've been busy!  I can't believe I'm 33 today.  I feel so much younger out here in MN.  I think it's all the time I'm spending outside with the new house and yard.  Beats my old apartment any day.  There's not really much to do in this town, but I'm kind of a homebody.  Hard not to be when you can just sit out back and enjoy a nice fire next to THE NEW BIRTHDAY PATIO FURNITURE I bought myself!!! YES!  now I'm going to be spending alot more time out here.  I even hooked up a wifi router and now I can catch up with email or write this blog or whatever while enjoying a nice fire.  I was thinking of getting some tiki torches but they would probably just pale in comparison to the rockin fires that I've had going over the past week.  Is this paradise?  YESSSSS!  Kind of scared of the winter but crossing my fingers.  Hope it's not as bad as my family in San Diego are convinced it will be.  ANYWAY I'm rambling.  Have to get the house in order for the big birthday bonfire extravaganza this saturday... email me if you want to stop by: spoutdoorenthusiast@gmail.com

So far so good

So far things have been going well with the house.  Lots of bonfires, mostly just because I love the smell!!! Before I moved to MN, I lived in San Diego.  No way you can have bonfires like this out there!  People here don't even realize what they are missing... I've been trying to spread the word, and I think it's working... some of my neighbors are spending time outdoors with their friends and coworkers and having some great bonfires.  I've even recieved a few invites.  Can't wait until fall, when bonfire season is in full swing.  It's kind of hot for it right now but it smells SO GOOD!!!

GUESS WHAT!!!!!!! One of the guys that came to my housewarming party/bonfire hooked me up with a great source for cheap firewood I guess someone chopped down a bunch of trees in maple grove and they have to get rid of this stuff.  Tons of great oak, maple, you name it... I could have bonfires for years with this stuff!!!

Just moved to North Saint Paul.  Really excited to live here!  Can't believe I can afford a house with a really nice back yard!  First thing's first, I'm going to have a housewarming party!! Bonfire?!  YES PLEASE
